Olivos Event Creations Terms and Conditions
1. General Information
1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all products and services provided by Olivos Event Creations, including custom desserts and decorations.
1.2 By placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Orders
2.1 All orders must be placed at least 2 weeks in advance to ensure availability.
2.2 A deposit is required to confirm your booking. Orders are not secured until the deposit is received.
2.3 The remaining balance is due the day of the event or at the time of pick-up, whichever comes first.
3. Dietary Restrictions and Allergies
3.1 While we offer options for dietary restrictions (e.g., gluten-free, nut-free), all products are prepared in a kitchen that processes common allergens. Cross-contamination is possible.
3.2 It is the customer’s responsibility to inform us of any allergies or restrictions at the time of booking.
4. Delivery and Pick-Up Policy
4.1 Desserts and cakes are pick-up only at our location in Romeoville, IL.
4.2 Decorations can be delivered and set up within our service area for an additional fee.
4.3 Customers are responsible for the safe transport of pick-up orders. Olivos Event Creations is not liable for damage incurred during transport.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
5.1 Cancellations:
More than 14 days before the event: Full refund of deposit.
7–14 days before the event: 50% of the deposit is refundable.
Less than 7 days before the event: Deposit is non-refundable.
5.2 Rescheduling:
More than 14 days before the event: No fee for rescheduling.
7–14 days before the event: $25 rescheduling fee.
Less than 7 days before the event: $50 rescheduling fee.
5.3 Olivos Creations reserves the right to cancel or reschedule orders due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.
6. Design and Customization
6.1 All designs are subject to artistic interpretation. While we strive to match your vision, exact replicas may not always be possible.
6.2 Customers must provide any inspiration photos or design preferences at the time of booking.
7. Changes to Orders
7.1 Changes to orders must be requested no later than 8 days before the event date.
7.2 Additional charges may apply for design or quantity changes.
8. Refund Policy
8.1 Refunds are not available for custom orders once they have been completed.
8.2 If there is a problem with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of pick-up or delivery, and we will work to resolve the issue.
9. Liability
9.1 Olivos Event Creations is not responsible for damage to desserts or decorations after they leave our care.
9.2 Customers are responsible for providing accurate event details and ensuring access to the venue for delivery or setup.
10. Photography and Marketing
10.1 Olivos Event Creations reserves the right to photograph completed products for promotional use.
10.2 If you prefer not to have your order photographed or shared, please notify us in writing at the time of booking.
11. Agreement
By placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
